Sober Strength System

14-Day Sober Strength Reset

In 14 days, you’ll begin learning how to:

  • Recognise what triggers you to drink
  • Manage cravings and difficult moments
  • Calm yourself without reaching for alcohol
  • Replace drinking as your off switch
  • Create a plan for continuing beyond day 14

More than just trying harder

You already know what drinking is costing you

You may have promised yourself you’d stop, only to find yourself drinking again when the pressure builds. That doesn’t mean you’re weak or incapable of change. It usually means alcohol has become your quickest way to cope, switch off or escape. The 14-Day Reset helps you understand and begin changing that pattern.

1

You’re tired of starting over

You keep telling yourself this will be the last time, but without a clear plan, the same triggers and habits keep pulling you back.

2

Alcohol has become your off switch

Stress, exhaustion, loneliness, frustration or the end of a long day can create an automatic urge to drink, even when part of you no longer wants to.

3

You don’t know what to do instead

Removing alcohol can leave a gap. You need practical ways to manage cravings, regulate difficult emotions and get through the moments when you’d normally drink.

4

You want a clear way forward

You don’t need more shame or another lecture. You need one realistic step each day, practical tools you can use and a plan that helps you keep moving beyond day 14.

The Rebuild Method

Removing alcohol is only part of the change

The Reset doesn’t simply tell you to stop drinking and rely on willpower. It helps you understand the pattern, prepare for the difficult moments and begin building something healthier in its place. Self-understanding comes before self-discipline.

1

Recognise

See the pattern

Identify when, where and why you drink so you can begin noticing the triggers, thoughts and situations that usually lead to alcohol.

2

Regulate

Settle the moment

Learn practical ways to slow down, manage cravings and respond to stress or difficult emotions without automatically reaching for a drink.

3

Replace

Fill the gap

Begin replacing alcohol’s role as your reward, comfort or off switch with healthier actions that still meet the need underneath the habit.

4

Rebuild

Create structure

Build simple routines around your mornings, evenings, environment and support so that staying alcohol-free becomes easier to maintain.

5

Rise

Keep moving forward

Recognise the progress you’ve made, strengthen your new identity and create a personal plan for continuing beyond your first 14 days.

One clear step each day

Days 1–4

Understand

Recognise your drinking patterns, triggers and the purpose alcohol has been serving.

Days 5–9

Respond differently

You’re not just counting alcohol-free days. You’re learning how to make those days easier to continue.

How each day works

1

2

Complete the exercise

Use the workbook to connect that day’s lesson to your own experience and drinking patterns.

3

Take one practical step

Put what you’ve learned into action and build on it again the following day.

By the end of the Reset

You’ll understand your drinking more clearly, have practical ways to manage difficult moments and leave with a plan for continuing alcohol-free.

Your next step

Give yourself 14 days to change your direction

You don’t need to have everything worked out before you begin. You only need to be ready to take one honest, practical step each day and see what becomes possible.

Meet your guide

I didn’t get sober because I hit rock bottom

I got sober because I could see where alcohol was taking me, and I decided I didn’t want to keep going in that direction.

I’m Jason Slade. I’ve spent more than 40 years working in hospitality, including more than 30 years leading kitchens as a head chef. I understand long shifts, constant pressure, disrupted routines and the need to switch off when the day is finally over.

Alcohol became my way of coping. It helped me slow down, numb the pressure and separate work from the rest of my life. But the temporary relief came with a cost to my health, energy, relationships and the person I wanted to be.

Getting sober wasn’t about finding more willpower. I had to understand why I drank, learn how to manage those moments differently and rebuild the routines and identity that had formed around alcohol.

You’re not broken. Your drinking developed for a reason, and understanding that reason gives you somewhere practical to begin.

The principles behind this Reset

01

Curiosity before judgement

Shame keeps people stuck. Honest curiosity helps you understand what your drinking has been doing for you.

02

Regulate before you remove

When alcohol has been your off switch, you need practical ways to manage the pressure and emotions underneath it.

03

Identity before habits

Lasting change becomes easier when your daily choices begin matching the person and life you’re working to rebuild.

I created the Reset to give you the structure, understanding and practical tools I wish I’d had when I decided it was time to change.

Before you begin

You don’t need to feel completely ready

Feeling uncertain doesn’t mean you’re incapable of changing. It usually means the decision matters. Here are some honest answers to the questions you may have before beginning.

01

No label required

You don’t need to call yourself an alcoholic or explain your decision to anyone before choosing an alcohol-free life.

02

No perfect starting point

You can begin with doubts, fear and unfinished questions. The Reset helps you work through them one day at a time.

03

No shame-based approach

This program focuses on understanding your behaviour and creating practical change, not judging you for your past.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to identify as an alcoholic?

No. This program doesn’t require you to accept a label. It’s designed for people who recognise that alcohol is affecting their life and are ready to do something about it.

Is this designed to help me drink less?

No. The 14-Day Sober Strength Reset is designed to support 14 alcohol-free days. Its purpose is to help you step away from alcohol, understand the patterns behind your drinking and begin building a different way forward.

What if I’ve tried to stop before?

A previous attempt hasn’t made you incapable of change. It may mean that removing alcohol without replacing the purpose it served left an important gap.

This Reset helps you examine your triggers, routines, emotional needs and coping patterns so you can respond differently this time.

What if I’m not sure I can complete all 14 days?

You don’t need to solve all 14 days today. Your responsibility is to complete the current lesson and take the next practical step. The structure is designed to keep your attention on what you can do now.

How much time will I need each day?

Most people should allow approximately 20 to 30 minutes for the daily lesson and workbook activity. Some reflection exercises may take longer depending on how deeply you choose to work through them.

Can I complete the program around shift work?

Yes. The Reset is self-guided, so you can complete each lesson at a time that works with your routine. You’ll also keep lifetime access, allowing you to revisit any lesson when needed.

Is this only for people working in hospitality?

No. Jason’s background gives him a strong understanding of hospitality pressure, long shifts and using alcohol to switch off, but the program is suitable for adults from any background who are ready to stop drinking and rebuild.

Do I receive personal coaching with the Reset?

The $197 Reset is a self-guided program and doesn’t include private coaching. It gives you the lessons, workbook and tools needed to work through the 14 days independently.

Private coaching is available separately for people who want individual guidance, accountability and more personalised support.

What happens if I drink during the 14 days?

One difficult moment doesn’t erase everything you’ve learned. Return to the program, examine what happened honestly and use it as information about the trigger, need or situation that still requires attention.

The goal isn’t perfection. The goal is greater awareness, responsibility and a stronger response next time.

Is this a medical treatment or detox program?

No. The Reset is an educational sobriety coaching program. It doesn’t diagnose or treat alcohol dependence, mental health conditions or other medical concerns, and it isn’t a substitute for medical care.

If you drink heavily or regularly, have experienced withdrawal symptoms or are unsure whether stopping suddenly is safe, speak with your doctor or an alcohol and drug service before beginning.

How long will I have access?

Your purchase includes lifetime access to the complete program. You can return to the lessons, exercises and practical tools whenever you need a reminder or reset.

14

Fourteen days won’t rebuild your whole life

They can give you enough distance from alcohol to think more clearly, understand your patterns and begin proving to yourself that another direction is possible.

Need immediate or medical support? Contact your doctor, an alcohol and drug service or emergency services when urgent help is required. The 14-Day Reset is educational coaching and isn’t crisis care, medical treatment or a supervised withdrawal service.

One honest step

You already know what continuing in the same direction costs

You don’t need another promise that you’ll deal with it eventually. Give yourself 14 alcohol-free days, a clear structure and the opportunity to discover what can change when you begin.
